- Niv and the niv command can work in the same folder, taking turns to sync it
- A folder that already has your Space’s notes links to them instead of copying them
- A file that doesn’t match its note waits in Files to review, instead of being overwritten or copied
- Quitting while a new note is being sent no longer leaves it half-sent
- An edit that arrived through iCloud, Dropbox or git while Niv was closed no longer shows up twice
- When sync stops, the footer says so and how to start it again
- A takeover saves its index once per batch, not once per adopted note
- An encrypted catch-up paces itself and survives the rate limit instead of starting over
