# Niv 0.3.66

2026-10-16

- Renames, moves and folder deletes you make outside Niv while it’s open always reach your Space
- An edit is no longer sent twice when you quit Niv while it was sending and the niv command took over
- A new device taking over an encrypted folder whose notes were moved outside Niv no longer duplicates them
- When Niv can’t compare a file with your Space’s note of the same name, it keeps the file apart in Settings › Sync, where you can send it as a separate note
- After a server outage, encrypted notes start sending again within seconds
- “Start over” in encryption setup can no longer set aside the keys of an account that’s already working
