Publish a note
Any note in a Space can become a public web page, straight from Niv. There's nothing to export: the page is your note.
What you need
The note syncs with a Space. See Spaces.
You're signed in and online.
You're an owner or editor of the Space. Other members can see whether a note is published, but can't change it.
Publish
Open the note.
Choose Publish at the right end of the tab bar.
Choose Publish.
The page is online right away, and the button now says Published. Choose Copy link to share it, or Open page to see it.

The address
A published note lives at an address like this:
niv.md/p/your-space/your-noteThe first part stands for your Space, and the second comes from the note's title, in lowercase, without accents or spaces. If another note in the Space has the same address, Niv adds a few letters and numbers to tell them apart.
The address is set the first time you publish. Renaming the note doesn't change it, and if you unpublish and publish again, the page comes back at the same address.
Update the page
The page is a copy of the note at the moment you published it. When you change the note afterwards, the button says the page is out of date. Open it and choose Update page to publish what you see now.
Unpublish
Choose Published, then Unpublish, and confirm. The page goes offline and its link stops working. Copies others already made, such as in search engines, aren't something Niv controls.
What's on the page
The note's title, emoji, cover and text.
Links to other notes that are also published in the same Space work as links. Links to anything else show as plain text.
Links to websites stay links.
Published pages are made to be found by search engines. Publish only what you're happy for anyone to read.
