Themes and appearance
Niv's look is calm on purpose, and yours to tune. Everything here is in Settings › General › Appearance.

Theme
Automatic: Papel when your system is light, Abismo when it's dark.
Papel: warm paper; light.
Abismo: near-black; dark.
Maré: glass over a slow field of your colour; dark only.
Tinta: your colour soaks into paper and glass; light and dark.
Nítido: opaque, sharp edges, highest contrast; light and dark.
Shape
How round the corners are, and how dense the lists:
Vega: balanced. The default.
Nova: compact rows, slightly tighter corners.
Maia: soft and roomy, round corners.
Lyra: sharp corners, same density.
Mira: the densest, for long lists.
Your colour
Indigo, Blue, Emerald, Rose, Amber or Orange. Tinta and Maré are built from it.
In the note
Show title above the note: turn it off when your notes open with their own heading.
Icons in tabs and Icons in the note list: show each note's icon in the tab bar and in the sidebar.
Wide layout, above each note's title, lets that note use the full width of the window.
Zoom
Zoom scales the whole app. ⌘= zooms in, ⌘- zooms out, ⌘0 goes back to 100%.
Where these are kept
Theme, shape, colour and the note title setting are saved on this device, for every folder. Icons and zoom are saved in this folder, in .niv/settings.toml.
